AS any woman with big boobs knows, there are certain styles of dresses that are best avoided.

But one lady has come up with a way to make empire-style dresses look flattering even if you do have a full bust.

Maxine took to her TikTok page to share her clever hacks to transform a size 14 dress from Tu Clothing to make it more flattering for her figure.

"The sleeve length is making me look wider," she began.

"Push the elastic higher to create a cute puff sleeve - this helps break it up."

She then added that the skirt of the dress "hangs without shape from my bustline".

To fix that, she added a belt to create a waistline.

"What do you think?" she concluded, showing the difference between the dress as it was originally and as it was with her hacks.

Maxine was quickly praised for sharing the hack, with one woman commenting on the post: "I have this dress and was considering returning it, I now know how to make it work. Thanks."

"Raising the sleeve and adding a belt really help give you a beautiful shape!" another added.

"Gorgeous colour and style on you hun," a third wrote.

But not everybody was a fan of her hacks, as one commented: "Personally I think a belt looks ridiculous when there is a seam for the bust already and it’s higher than the belt."

In another of her videos, Maxine revealed her top tips for choosing a dress for the summer when you have a bigger bust.

"Buttons you can undo," she began. "Shirred tops with full sleeves for balance, or with a statement collar.

"Wrap styles with soft sleeves. Deep V necks (you can wear a cami underneath). Flirty frills that feel fun.

"Cap sleeves that draw the eye up."

"You don't need to hide a fuller bust," she concluded. "Just find the fit to flatter."
